Investment Properties Group
Led by Group President Richard Gilchrist, the Investment Properties Group is responsible for development, marketing and management of the Irvine Company’s office, retail, resort and apartment properties located in Orange County, San Diego, Silicon Valley, and West Los Angeles. The company’s investment portfolio exceeds 85 million square feet.
The Investment Properties Group comprises:
Apartment Communities: Led by President Max Gardner, Irvine Company Apartment Communities owns and operates 115 apartment communities in Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. It is also the exclusive builder of new multi-family rental projects in master-planned communities the Irvine Company develops in Orange County.
Office Properties: Led by Chairman Val Wheeler, Irvine Company Office Properties is responsible for development, marketing, leasing and management of the Irvine Company’s 475 office properties from San Diego to Silicon Valley.
Retail Properties: Led by President Keith Eyrich, Irvine Company Retail Properties oversees development, marketing, leasing and management of the Irvine Company's 41 shopping centers in California. Major properties include Irvine Spectrum Center® in Irvine, Fashion Island® in Newport Beach and The Market Place in Tustin/Irvine.
Resort Properties: Led by President Ralph Grippo, Irvine Company Resort Properties is responsible for management of the Irvine Company’s two resort hotels and two golf clubs, as well as five marinas in Newport Harbor and Bair Island in Redwood City. Irvine Company Resort Properties’ flagship property is The Resort at Pelican Hill®, a luxury destination golf resort that opened on the Newport Coast in November 2008 and features 204 rooms and suites, 128 2- to 4-bedroom villas and two 18-hole championship golf courses.
