IRVINE, Calif. (November 16, 2015) – The forecast on Saturday Dec. 12, 2015 calls for a flurry of snow in Orange County – if only for a day.
“We’re bringing a special day of snow-packed action to The Market Place in Irvine this year with the help of the guys from Active Ride Shop,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Nothing says the holidays like a little snowfall and we’re thrilled to make it happen.”
From noon to 5 p.m., kids have the opportunity to learn how to snowboard on real snow and also craft popsicle snowmen. In attendance will be the Anaheim Ducks’ mascot, Wild Wing, the Power Players and Street Team. The event will take place in the Edwards Theater Courtyard.
In addition, a Ducks-inspired photo backdrop, designed to look like you’re sitting beside the Ducks players on their bench during a game, offers families a great way to capture the “DUCK the Halls” fun. Guests can also enter to win The Ultimate Fan package of four (4) Ducks tickets, dinner at The Market Place and a $500 The Market Place gift card.
