Newport Beach, California, October 10, 2008 — Bison Bay Cafe, formerly known as Champagnes Market and Deli, has relocated and remodeled at Newport North Shopping Center. The new restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere with the addition of patio dining.
Bison Bay Cafe’s menu offers the same great food that Champagnes was known for, as well as a variety of new items that represent oven roasted and homemade specialties. The menu features fresh salads, deli sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, delicious homemade bakery treats, and entrees such as salmon, chicken Dijon and meatloaf. The new dinner menu includes fire crusted barbecue ribs, roast turkey and chicken and more. A selection of beer and wine will complement lunch or dinner. Champagnes famous packaged meals can still be purchased to take and enjoy at home.
A new breakfast menu will soon debut, including breakfast sandwiches and classic favorites like eggs Benedict and scrambles.
“We are excited to continue serving our loyal customers in a new and remodeled location,” said owner Rand McDevitt. “The new name Bison Bay Cafe celebrates our location on Bison Avenue, across from the historic Bison Ranch and the Newport Beach Back Bay. The restaurant is located next to Tully’s Coffee and features patio dining. Bison Bay Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant can be reached at (949) 640-5011.
