Black Friday at Irvine Spectrum Center

Irvine, CA – October 2014 – Black Friday will officially kick off at midnight at Irvine Spectrum Center on November 28. The festivities begin with the Disney Magical Holiday Lights at the Edwards Courtyard where families can enjoy a special holiday music and light display. In conjunction with the show, stores center-wide will open as early as midnight* to offer the hottest deals on the biggest shopping day of the year. To keep the holiday spirit going, Irvine Spectrum Center will offer free ice skating, free rides on the Giant Wheel and Carousel and complimentary valet parking from midnight to 8 a.m. DJs will also be stationed throughout the center for impromptu dance parties.

“Black Friday has become an annual family tradition, we’re seeing that it’s now a part of many families’ post-Thanksgiving dinner routines,” said Stacie Ellis, senior director of marketing for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Families come to watch a movie at the Edwards IMAX, then head to the ice rink for free ice skating or free rides on the Giant Wheel and then they hit all the stores together — or better yet, they divide and conquer the best of the sales.”

*Some Irvine Spectrum Center retailers may open earlier than the stated shopping center hours. Check with venues of interest directly for exact hours of operation. Visit or call (949) 753-5180 for more details.
