The online-based menswear retailer’s brick & mortar space will allow customers to try on apparel and have their orders shipped to their door
February 2015 – Bonobos (www.bonobos.com), the largest online-launched men’s clothing brand in the United States, brings its brick-and-mortar e-commerce store – the Bonobos Guideshop – to Newport Beach’s Fashion Island in March.
Marking the brand’s first Guideshop in Orange County, the Bonobos Guideshop at Fashion Island in Newport Beach will be a physical 1,085 square-foot space, serving as a highly personal extension of Bonobos’ comprehensive customer service. The Guideshop offers guests the opportunity to see and try on the clothing in-person before placing an order on the popular retail website – which can be completed on-site at the Guideshop, or from the comfort of home.
“Bonobos will bring together the best of two shopping worlds for a unique hybrid shopping experience where you can receive the tailored customer service and interaction that only a brick & mortar location can provide, but with online ease,” said Stacie Ellis, senior director of marketing for Irvine Company Retail Properties.
Known for its expert fit and award-winning customer service, Bonobos has been revolutionizing the way men shop since opening its first Guideshop doors in 2011 at the company’s headquarters in New York City. Bonobos Guideshop at Fashion Island will be the brand’s fifteenth location nationwide and the first in Orange County, California. Currently, Bonobos has Guideshop locations in Austin, Atlanta, Bethesda, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Georgetown, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and two in New York City, with plans to introduce the concept in additional domestic cities throughout the year.
