Capital, known for its popular Chinese dim sum and seafood, has opened at Irvine Spectrum Center. Serving lunch and dinner daily, Capital offers casual dining with an East meets West theme.
Along with Chinese fixtures and modern artwork, Capital has multiple TV screens in the bar to watch your favorite teams. The full bar has a wide selection of beers on tap, sake, wine and specialty drinks.
Capital serves more than 100 different types of dim sum, including classics such as Shiu Mai, Shrimp Har Gow, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns and Shanghai Dumplings. There are lunch specials served daily until 3 p.m. and priced from $9 to $12. On the dinner menu, guest will enjoy favorites such as House Special Lobster, Alaskan King Crab, Honey-Glazed Walnut Shrimp, French-Style Filet Mignon and Peking Duck.
Located near Nordstrom, the restaurant occupies more than 8,000 square feet with an additional 1,000 square foot patio. Capital offers four private dining rooms that will accommodate private events such as corporate meetings, birthday parties, wine tastings and other special events.
