Chronic Tacos, a Newport Beach favorite since 2002, has opened its first Irvine location at Alton Square. The casual restaurant offers fresh, made-to-order Mexican food from authentic, third generation recipes.
Chronic Tacos prides itself on serving a full menu of great tasting taqueria style Mexican food in a restaurant that has its own unique style. According to Mike Gleich, President of Chronic Tacos, the restaurant will have large screen TVs, colorful custom artwork and great music. Gleich also stated that “Irvine has been on our radar for a long time and we are so excited to be a part of this community.”
Chronic Tacos offers custom made tacos and burritos with the option of flour, corn or wheat tortillas, and a selection of meats, fish or shrimp, veggies and salsa. The menu also features tostadas, taquitos, enchiladas and other items, along with guacamole and salsa made fresh daily. The restaurant will also serve breakfast daily.
The restaurant plans to be an active community partner and has already sponsored the Woodbridge High School basketball team. Chronic Tacos will also be very active with local fundraising and charity events.
The new Chronic Tacos is located in Alton Square at 5365 Alton Parkway, off of Jeffrey Rd., in Irvine, and can be reached at (949) 653-8226 (TACO). For more information, please visit www.eatchronictacos.com.
