Churned Creamery brings the ultimate scoop to Irvine

From its trademark CroCream to its purist flavors, Woodbury Town Center will feel the churn this June with the artisanal ice cream parlor’s cool arrival

Irvine, Calif. (May 26, 2017) — A feast for the eyes, Churned Creamery is set to open its fifth California location at Woodbury Town Center this summer. Patrons can observe the ice-cream making process with orders immediately scooped from the churning barrel and custom made with both traditional and refined toppings.

“Churned Creamery is truly an original concept in that it honors the heritage of ice-cream making and updates it with state-of-the-art technology,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer of Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Let’s just say innovation tastes quite good.”

Ingredients are of the essence at Churned Creamery with local, all-natural California dairy and fresh fruit. Flavors range from Green Mint and Nutella to 100-percent California Pistachio and for grown-ups, Whiskey & Cream. Additionally, there are healthy alternatives and non-dairy options including superior sorbet in flavors like mango and blood orange.

Everything at this modern-meets-nostalgic parlor is crave-worthy—from milkshakes and new takes on old-fashioned soda floats to frothy, coffee-infused affogatos. Not to be missed: it’s trademark CroCream, featuring fresh churned ice cream stuffed in a warm, flaky croissant, topped with powdered sugar and sauce of your choosing.

“Woodbury Town Center is the very definition of a modern, family-centric destination. It’s a bustling hub with all types of dining, work-out facilities, shopping, and a great place to just kick back on the grass area and enjoy premium ice cream,” said Churned Creamery owner Andrew Yun, an Irvine resident. “I wanted to invest where my family lives so I could contribute to the community.”

Churned Creamery is located at 6376 Irvine Blvd., Irvine, CA 92620
