Supporting the Community
Recognizing COVID-19’s near-term financial impact on the community, we created a Rent Assist program for our apartment residents to provide immediate relief to those who need it. We are pleased to announce that the program is entering its second month and has been well received.
Resources for Retail Merchants
Our retail centers are home to hundreds of small business owners who operate in a variety of sectors. To support these businesses we were one of the first landlords in the nation to offer a substantial rent-deferral program. In addition, we facilitated discussions between these small business owners and representatives from local banks who provided valuable information on how to qualify for government programs and support. Many of our local retailers participated in the program and now are developing business plans for operating in a new, more challenging economy. New Home Virtual Tours
In response to physical distancing requirements, our home building team has reimagined the purchase experience through technology. Prospective buyers can now explore each of our unique residences with video walkthroughs and self-guided 360° virtual tours. Thousands have already utilized the program in the last few weeks. Private tours can be scheduled after preferences are determined. New home construction also has continued, bringing much-needed jobs and an economic boost.
