Drybar Announces First Orange County Location At Fashion Island

Drybar, the premiere blow-dry bar that revolutionized the industry in Los Angeles by offering a new approach to the popular hair service, has announced that it will open its first Orange County location at Fashion Island in late spring, 2011.

Drybar will bring their signature service to the ladies of the OC, proving a fun, chic and comfortable environment where women are treated to a professional blowout for a flat fee (regardless of hair length) of only $35. All while watching girly movies, snacking on light fare and even charging their iPhone at the built-in docks at any one of the twelve comfy stations.

The Drybar menu of blowout styles includes the Cosmopolitan (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (simple and straight), Southern Comfort (big hair with volume), Mai Tai (messy and beachy), Manhattan (sleek and smooth) and, of course, the Shirley Temple.

“We are so thrilled by the incredible response we’re seeing from woman all over Los Angeles for our concept,” said co-founder Alli Webb, who was trained by Toni & Guy and worked with legendary stylist John Sahag in New York City. “Focusing on one thing, and one thing only, has allowed us to become really really good at blowouts,” she continued. “We always felt Drybar would be a perfect fit for Orange County and after consistently getting request after request from our clients and friends, we made finding the right location a priority.”

Webb founded Drybar in early 2010 with her brother Michael Landau, a successful entrepreneur and former long-time Yahoo! marketing executive along with her husband, a creative director at Secret Weapon Marketing responsible for writing Jack-in-the-Box commercials.
Drybar will be conveniently located on the main level of Atrium Court, across from Barnes & Noble. For more information please visit
