IRVINE, Calif., July 2015 – The Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 is set to debut its new luxury wing, complete with 8 newly upgraded auditoriums that will feature plush recliners, reserved seating, enhanced menu and a lounge.
“When it opened 20 years ago, the Edwards theatre was one of the first megaplex cinemas in the world,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Today it remains one of O.C.’s most popular theatres and the new luxury seating will only further enhance the movie-going experience at Irvine Spectrum Center.”
To celebrate the new theatre accommodations, Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 will be offering a special preview day on Tuesday, August 4 with $5 recliner tickets, $3 popcorn and $3 soft drinks all day. Additionally, proceeds from the day will benefit Variety the Children’s Charity of Southern California. The new luxury wing will be closed August 5 for a private event and re-open Thursday, August 6.
