Fashion Island Welcomes Several New Boutiques

Among the new retailers to arrive to the coastal shopping destination: Seafolly, Briana Rene, Skin Laundry, Blushington and Halston Heritage

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (October 2013) – Fashion Island is set to become home to several new boutiques this fall.

Halston Heritage recently opened its first Orange County boutique, located in the Neiman Marcus – Bloomingdale’s court. The stunning space offers ready-to-wear women’s apparel, including shoes and accessories with all the hallmark details of the storied Halston brand, from sleek cocktail gowns and eveningwear to gorgeous leather clutches and delicate heels.

Also newly opened is Briana Rene, a contemporary women’s apparel shop from Orange County native Briana Ellison. Featuring brands from Europe, Australia and Los Angeles such as Maison Scotch, Piper Gore, Saako and Mink Pink, Briana Rene offers all the latest fashion-forward styles at approachable prices. Briana Rene is also the only Orange County boutique to carry Whitney Eve, from designer Whitney Port of “The City” and “The Hills.” Briana Rene is situated next to Macy’s.

Babakul, from the founder of True Religion, brings the casual SoCal look for women with plenty of wearable pieces in ultra-soft knits and jerseys. Find tanks and tees perfect for layering, textured cropped jackets with suede trim and of course, skinny denim in fall hues such as cranberry, olive and slate blue.

For beauty mavens looking for express service, now there’s Skin Laundry, which offers all the benefits of a full facial with medical-grade laser and light treatments that are completed in just 10 minutes. The laser works below the surface of the skin, killing bacteria and vaporizing the gunk in your pores and stimulates collagen to result in healthy, glowing skin. Skin Laundry is located next to Macy’s.

And just in time for all the holiday parties this season, Blushington is set to open late fall to provide quick and easy professional makeup application for busy gals on the go who need to get picture perfect for that special occasion. Guests can plop down in the gorgeous (blush-toned, natch) beauty lounge and let the experts wave their magic wands over their faces to get Hollywood-glam in about 20-30 minutes flat, starting at just $20 for an “On-the-Go” session to $40 for full-face makeup application to $50 to get you “Camera-Ready” flawless. The best part? Blushington will be located just a few steps away from Dry Bar, so women will be able to get both their hair and makeup expertly done for the ultimate in convenient primping and pampering. Blushington will be located in the Atrium.

Seafolly, the popular line of swimwear from Australia, will debut its first U.S. flagship boutique in November at Fashion Island with a 1,800-square-foot store carrying swim separates, limited edition pieces and beachy apparel and accessories. With famous spokesmodels such as Miranda Kerr and Behati Prinsloo, Seafolly is sure to make a splash in coastal Orange County. Seafolly will be located next to Nordstrom.
