Find all things Halloween at The Market Place

The Market Place has everything you need for spooky Halloween fun

IRVINE, Calif. – (October 2015) – This Halloween, head to The Market Place for everything from festive party decorations at Party City to the season’s most popular getups at Costume Castle. And then prepare to have the fright of your life.

“The Market Place is your one-stop destination for all things Halloween this year,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer of Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Whether it’s finding what you need to decorate your home for Halloween or costumes for the entire family. We’ve even got a scary treat for brave adults this year, too.”

New this year to the center is The 17th Door, a twisted, nightmarish haunted house excursion dreamed up by Tustin couple Robbie and Heather Luther. The Los Angeles Times recently called it “Southern California’s most anticipated haunted experiences of the Halloween season” and “the most innovative haunted experience … ever seen.”

The 30-minute experience takes guests through 17 rooms of intense, in-your-face horror. Guests must sign a liability waiver to enter and the actors are allowed to grab guests, according to The 17th Door’s website. As the OC Register cited, “The safe word is ‘mercy’  … that’s the first rule to remember while visiting 17th Door.” Indeed, guests may use the safe word to leave the haunted house at any time.

Tickets are $21 to $35, with options for a VIP speed pass to skip the general line. Information: or 714.441.9080.
