Irvine shoppers have a new, one-stop shopping destination with the recent opening of Woodbury Town Center. Located at Irvine Blvd. and Sand Canyon Avenue, the 450,000 sq. ft. community shopping center features an array of convenient stores, restaurants and services.

The first stores that have opened include Staples, Home Depot, Citibank, Panera Bread, Starbucks Coffee, Cingular Wireless, Hoag Health Center, Sports Clips, and Yakety Yak Wireless. Opening soon are MK Hairdressing Studio, Elite Fitness Tae Kwon Do, El Pollo Loco, Walgreens, Dentistry Bliss, GNC, Juice It Up!, Niko Niko Sushi, Pialago Cleaners, Piccomolo, Thai Spice, The Nail & Spa Company, Trader Joe’s, Visual Effects Optometry, Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant, First Class Pizza and Carl’s Jr.

In addition, Pink Mascara, a popular online source for women’s designer apparel and accessories, will soon debut its first retail store at Woodbury Town Center. The boutique will offer the hottest fashions by designers featured in top fashion magazines, including Rebecca Taylor, Citizens of Humanity, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Diane Von Furstenburg, Ya-Ya Clothing, Joe’s Jeans, KORS shoes, Nieves Lavi, Kooba, Splendid, T Bags and many more.

Opening in the spring and summer are Ralphs Fresh Fare, Chevron, Bank of America, Chick-Fil-A, Foot Solutions, Rock N’ Road Cyclery, LA Fitness, Tresor, and Wells Fargo.

The community of Woodbury recently received a Gold Nugget award, its fourth major honor. It was named “Best Master Planned Community of the Year” by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) earlier this year; “Best Master Planned Community of the Year” in 2005 during the Southern California homebuilding industry’s annual Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Awards; and won the Gold Nugget “Best on the Boards” Award during the West Coast Builders Show in 2004.

Woodbury Town Center will feature European-inspired architecture complimenting the residential neighborhoods nearby. Olive trees will line the promenade and fountains will add to the ambiance.

“Convenient shopping and dining are the hallmark of retail properties on the Irvine Ranch,” said Keith Eyrich, President of The Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Woodbury Town Center has been created with the community in mind. The center will not only offer a variety of stores and services for the whole family, but will also be a place to relax and dine with family and friends, in a welcoming outdoor environment.”
