Habana To Open Its Second O.C. Location At Irvine Spectrum Center

The award-winning Cuban and Pan-Latin restaurant is set to open late fall.

IRVINE, Calif., May 5, 2015 – Habana, the longtime Cuban restaurant and bar often named as one of Orange County’s favorite dining destinations, has signed a lease to open at Irvine Spectrum Center.

Known for its stylish and romantic setting, Habana is set to open its second location late fall, offering the same sultry, Cuban-inspired ambiance and an expansive patio lit by flickering candles.

“Habana’s longevity is a testament to how beloved it is by locals as a go-to gathering spot for all occasions,” said Easther Liu, Chief Marketing Officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “We’re looking forward to adding Habana to our collection of great dining venues here at Irvine Spectrum Center.”

Guests will enjoy specialty cocktails including the freshly muddled Mojito Classico with white rum, limes, mint, and cane sugar; Lavender Pisco shaken with Don Cesar Pisco, housemade sour mix, egg white, and fragrant lavender; and of course, Habana’s signature red and white sangrias. Celebrated dishes will mix classic Latin favorites as well as Habana’s own take on specialties such as Bocaditos, pastry dough stuffed with seasoned ground beef, capers, olives, tomatoes, and raisins, topped with a cool but spicy jalapeno crema; El Puerco Primo, slow-roasted pork osso-bucco on a bed of mashed potatoes, bacon collards, and maduros; and Plantain Crusted Chicken Breast, adobo dressed with horseradish mojo sauce and served with potatoes and julienned zucchini and squash.

Habana will be located at 708 Spectrum Center Drive, near Sports Authority.
