Hero Café, a new and unique fast casual restaurant, has opened at The Commons in Irvine. Featuring décor and a menu that play off a superhero theme, Hero Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on wholesome dishes made with fresh vegetables and organic ingredients.
Breakfast selections include an Omelet (two eggs, and daily veggie), Hero Sinwich (an open face sandwich with egg, bacon and pesto), Bruschetta (tomato, onion, and garlic on toasted bread), Oatmeal, as well as bacon and egg combinations served with seasonal fruits and drinks (water, coffee, and tea).
The lunch offerings include a GI J sinwich, Wild Wild Mushroom sinwich, and Chicken Hero sinwich, and salad selections on Mix Green Salad, Arugula Salad, Romaine Salad with optional “Zero 2 Hero” finishes (Bacon & Egg, Roasted tomato & Mozzarella Cheese, and Fresh Truffle Crab Salad).
In addition, Hero Café features “Hero Eats at Night” after 4 p.m., serving an Egg White Scramble, Hero Sinwich, Bruschetta, Iron Man Oatmeal, and Sunflower Seed Butter Toast, all served with seasonal fruit. Sweet bites including creme brulee, blueberry cheese cake, berry good honey yogurt and a daily smoothie are also offered.
