Jonathan Adler Opens OC Exclusive at Fashion Island

Jonathan Adler, one of the country’s leading interior designers, has opened a namesake store at Fashion Island. Located near Fashion Island’s koi pond, this is Jonathan Adler’s first Orange County store.

The company is an internationally recognized lifestyle and home furnishings purveyor offering tabletop, bedding, bath accessories, furniture, rugs, pillows, and lighting. Jonathan Adler is known for a design aesthetic which pairs modernist forms with bold colors and groovy graphics.

Jonathan Adler has worked on luxury residential projects as well as large-scale commercial projects, including the celebrity hotspot Parker Palm Springs hotel. He has also been a judge on the Bravo television series, “Top Design.”

Jonathan Adler was born and raised in New Jersey. His entrée into the glamorous world of pottery occurred at summer camp in 1978. After studying semiotics and art history at Brown and a brief career as a talent agent in the early 90’s, Jonathan took to his true love of making pots fulltime. In 1994, Jonathan received his first order for pottery from Barneys New York, and since then he has opened seven company-operated stores nationwide. The company also has a thriving consumer web site and sells its home décor in over 1,000 locations worldwide through its wholesale division.

The company motto, “If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it,” reflects Jonathan’s commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and panache. Jonathan Adler is located near the koi pond at Fashion Island, at 235 Newport Center Drive. The store can be reached at (949) 759-0017.

As Orange County’s premier coastal shopping experience, Fashion Island features specialty boutiques, world-class department stores and a wide assortment of restaurants and cafes.
