Kofax, a document exchange company, has signed a lease for 90,000 sq. ft. at 15211 Laguna Canyon Road in Discovery Business Center. It plans to move in April 2009.
“Our most successful customers often say we offer the flexibility they require – in high quality offices they desire,” said Steve Case, senior vice president of leasing for Irvine Company Office Properties. “We are fortunate so many outstanding companies are choosing our offices during such a challenging leasing environment.”
In Irvine alone this year, Fluor Corporation, Cisco Systems, Broadcom Corp. and several other industry-leading companies have expanded in Irvine Company’s portfolio of Class A office buildings.
Last week, the company signed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to a 200,000 sq. ft. lease at 40 Pacifica, bringing about 600 new jobs to the city.
“Irvine offers it all: outstanding schools, great places to live, outstanding shopping and abundant open space and recreation,” Case said. “When you include the thoughtfully designed transportation system it’s easy to understand why the best companies want offices here.”
