NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 2014 – Letarte Swimwear, the Maui based swimwear, cover-up, sportswear and beach essentials brand, opens its first Orange County location at Fashion Island this week.
Created by sisters Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte Ross, the elite designs are coveted by a devoted fan base of loyal customers worldwide. Letarte infuses a jet-setting lifestyle mixed with the spirit of Aloha into their signature prints, intricate adornments and attention to lavish detail.
The luxury label will offer swimwear, sportswear, tropical weight cashmere, after sun skincare and Petite Letarte children’s beachwear. The boutique’s design, complementing a chic Hawaiian lifestyle, will have an upscale beach theme featuring surfboards, coastal art and dark floors within the 1000 square foot space.
“We are excited to add Letarte’s first Orange County location to the amazing assortment of swimwear shops at Fashion Island,” said Stacie Ellis, senior director of marketing for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Being located next to the beautiful Pacific ocean makes Newport Beach the perfect spot to find your summer and beachwear essentials.”
Letarte joins Fashion Island’s newly minted collection of specialty swimwear boutiques, including the West Coast flagship location of Seafolly, the popular line of swimwear from Australia, San Lorenzo Bikinis from Brazil and local Orange County brand Swim Spot.
Letarte will be located at 133 Newport Center Drive, Suite 133. For more information, visit www.letarteswimwear.com or shopfashionisland.com.
