Michael Nusskern Opens Designer Boutique at Fashion Island

Michael Nusskern, one of Orange County’s most popular and chic designer boutiques for women, has opened at Fashion Island. The 1,900 sq. ft. boutique is located next to Nordstrom.

Michael Nusskern is a sophisticated boutique that helps set trends rather than follow them. Collections are exclusively devoted to established and emerging international designers who meet high standards of innovation, casual sophistication, and emphatic, creative statements of style.

The store carries women’s clothing, accessories, handbags, jewelry and shoes, including some brands that are exclusive in Orange County, such as Barbara Bui, Vivienne Westwood and French designer Isabel Marant. Other featured designers include Pier Antonio Gaspari, Inhabit, Raquel Allegra, Graham & Spencer, and many more.

“We’re thrilled to join the line-up at Fashion Island, which is truly one of Southern California’s best shopping destinations,” said Wakim Kivorkian, owner of Michael Nusskern. “The new boutique will feature more designer collections and unique, edgy brands.”

Partner, co-owner and company Art Director Oscar Coronado added, “This is an exciting time with Nordstrom opening and the center’s beautiful, fresh new look.”

The new store has a loft-style feeling, with a very modern and luxe yet cozy, inviting atmosphere. The boutique also has furniture designed by Coronado. Michael Nusskern was established in 2004 when its first boutique opened at Harbor View Center in Newport Beach.

As Orange County’s premier coastal shopping and dining experience, Fashion Island features specialty boutiques, world-class department stores and a wide assortment of restaurants and cafés. Visited by more than 13 million people annually, Fashion Island offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that is distinctively Southern California.

Owned by Irvine Company, Fashion Island is home to Orange County’s only Neiman Marcus, as well as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Bloomingdale’s Home Store and Macy’s. For more information, please visit
