Pelican Hill Presents Winter Golf Academy Programs

Pelican Hill Golf Club®, located along the coast of Newport Beach in sunny Southern California, announces its winter 2013 Golf Academy programs. Featuring two Tom Fazio-designed ocean-view golf courses, the world’s top-rated golf resort, according to Condé Nast Traveler readers, offers personal instruction and group workshops with Golf Magazine “Top 100 Teacher America” Glenn Deck, as well as special putting and green reading clinics with guest instructor Jason Goldsmith.

“Short game accounts for the vast majority of a golfer’s time on the course, so our programs emphasize personalized instruction, designed to specifically improve putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play,” said Steve Friedlander, vice president – golf for Pelican Hill and Oak Creek Golf Clubs. “As the new year begins, we encourage golfers of all experience levels to resolve to lower their scores this year with full-day, half-day and guest instruction programs focused on the short game.”
