Which way does your path of discovery lead? Find out today as Portola Springs™ celebrates the grand opening of model homes for Sendero, a brand new residential neighborhood in the amazing new village on The Irvine Ranch®.
“The exceptional variety of homes and lifestyles offered in the new village of Portola Springs just keeps growing,” said Suzanne Maddalon, senior director of marketing and research for Irvine Community Development Company LLC, an affiliate of The Irvine Company LLC. “We welcome Sendero, which is Spanish for ‘path,’ a fitting name for this new townhome neighborhood since Portola Springs offers an abundance of trails and pathways that lead to places to play, explore, and soon, shop and socialize.”
Sendero by John Laing Homes exhibits charming Spanish Colonial, Monterey and Santa Barbara architecture. Home interiors range from approximately 1,312 to 2,106 square feet of living space, and every home has a two-car garage. The imaginatively envisioned one-, two- and three-story townhomes include two or three bedrooms and two to three and one-half baths. Each of Sendero’s six floorplans offers its own special design flair, with living areas that flow comfortably together for easy entertaining and expand onto generous-sized decks or patios per plan.
Enhancing the neighborhood’s carefree lifstyle, Sendero is adjacent to open space, nature preserves, agricultural lands, and parkland. Serving as the centerpiece for recreation and relaxation at Portola Springs is the new Silverado Park. This beautifully landscaped neighborhood gathering place includes a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, wading pool, spa, poolside cabanas, shade structures, tennis courts, basketball court, open turf area, community room, and picnic area with barbecues.
Silverado Park is just one of 18 neighborhood parks planned for Portola Springs, four of which are now open. Additionally, a 25-acre community park is planned in the heart of Portola Springs, where a bounty of trails lead from homes to parks and so much more.
In addition, Portola Springs is planned to include two proposed elementary schools within the highly regarded Irvine Unified School District. Also envisioned for this new village is envisioned with its own shopping retail center. Major employment and entertainment centers, great shopping and dining, abundant recreation and entertainment, and John Wayne Airport all are conveniently nearby via both the on/off-ramps to the 241 toll road and the direct routes to the I-5, making Irvine Spectrum and Irvine Business Center only minutes away.
“When you live in Portola Springs, you’ve got nature all around you, while all the advantages of city life are also within easy reach.” said Maddalon. “It’s truly a ‘best of both worlds’ existence in this popular new village.”
