Several New Dessert Shops Opening In Orange County

IRVINE, Calif., May 2015 – Because there’s always room for dessert, several new sweet shops are opening at Irvine Company Retail Properties’ shopping centers. The newest additions are CREAM and Yogurtland at Irvine Spectrum Center and Scoops N Scoops at Walnut Village Center. They join recently opened Cookie Connection at Crossroads shopping center and Stax Cookie Bar at University Center.

“From homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches to a scoop of made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream, Irvine will have a little taste of everything to satisfy your sweet tooth,” said Easther Liu, Chief Marketing Officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties.

CREAM, opening at Irvine Spectrum Center, brings the best of both dessert worlds together, pairing freshly baked cookies and homemade ice cream to create gourmet ice cream sandwiches. An acronym for “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me,” CREAM allows customers to choose from more than 20 ice cream options with flavors like Cup of Joe, Royal Caramel Swirl and Toasted Almond to sandwich between two fresh baked cookie flavors including classics like chocolate chip, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin, as well as other options such as lemon heaven, gluten free chocolate and vegan banana walnut chocolate chip. Opening in June, CREAM will be located across from Tommy Bahama. For more information, visit www.creamnation.com.

Scoops N Scoops will be the latest liquid nitrogen ice cream shop to arrive to Orange County. Now open at Walnut Village Center, this modern ice creamery allows customers to customize their scoops by selecting a flavor, mix-ins and toppings as the ice cream is flash-frozen with liquid nitrogen.
