Summer Art Sundays At Fashion Island Kicks Off July 20

Art, fashion and food converge at Fashion Island for two Sundays in July

Newport Beach, Calif., July 2014 – Fashion Island and Orange County’s beloved Festival of Arts will partner together for a special event series this month.

“This is the first time Fashion Island has partnered with Festival of Arts to create a unique experience for our guests to enjoy the arts, fashion and great food,” said Stacie Ellis, senior director of marketing for Irvine Company Retail Properties.

From noon to 4 p.m. July 20, the Bloomingdale’s Courtyard lawn will be filled with works from Festival of Arts’ artists who will be showcasing their craft. Shoppers can enjoy complimentary light bites from featured Fashion Island restaurants such as Fig & Olive, Red O, Lark Creek and Blue C sushi as they enjoy art and fashion on display. Informal modeling will highlight the season’s hottest looks from retailers such as Ella Moss, Joie and Trina Turk.

From noon to 3 p.m. July 27, the Atrium lawn will transform into a creative playground for children, with free arts & crafts activities. More information:
