Teuscher Named Number One Chocolate Worldwide

Newport Beach, California – Teuscher Chocolates has been voted the number one chocolatier in the world by National Geographic travelers. The Switzerland-based company has its only Orange County location at Fashion Island. The high end chocolatier has been a favorite of locals since opening at the center in 2001.

Teuscher’s signature sweet is the champagne truffle with a cream center of Dom Perignon. In addition, Teuscher offers 18 different truffles, two seasonal truffles, and more than 60 different chocolates. Perfect for holiday gifts, Teuscher is known for its elegant packaging as well as whimsical party favors for all occasions.

All the chocolates and packaging are made in Zurich, Switzerland, where the Teuscher family has been in business for nearly 80 years. Today, Teuscher represents three generations of chocolate making the traditional way: by hand with great attention to quality and ingredients. The chocolates are flown in fresh weekly.

Teuscher also has a coffee bar with numerous specialty drinks, in addition to freshly baked European pastries. The coffee is made with high quality beans, and hot and cold chocolate coffees are made exclusively with Teuscher’s exclusive and high-end cracked chocolate. Teuscher also serves a version of the original Chocolate drink, Xocotal, invented by the Aztecs, as well as an array of super dark and healthy sipping chocolates.

The store is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to
