Update from Irvine Company
To our Community Friends, Tenants and Customers:
Like you, the Irvine Company has been focused on adapting our operations to meet the new reality brought on by COVID-19. We take this opportunity to update you on what our Company is implementing in order to continue to provide essential services, consistent with all applicable governmental orders.
The following proactive steps have already been taken:
Retail centers are open: Merchants in community centers are providing essential goods and services: groceries, delivery and take-out food, healthcare, pharmacies, and banking services.
Merchant rent deferral: Impacted retail merchants have the option to defer 3 months of rent until January 2021 – penalty and interest free – and they will have 12 months to become current.
Apartment rent deferral: In addition to any governmentally mandated relief, apartment residents impacted by COVID-19 will be able to defer half of their rent for April and May, and they will have 6 months to pay it back – penalty and interest free.
New home construction continues: Home sales as well as single and multi-family construction and maintenance will continue bringing much-needed jobs and an economic boost.
24/7 help for businesses: Workplace solutions teams have been proactively reaching out to customers to ensure that there are no disruptions to the businesses deemed essential by the government.
Resort, Hotel and Travel Support: Resort and hotel management has been working with both business and leisure travelers to ensure that the adjustments in their hotel reservations are being managed with care.
The Irvine Company remains your community neighbor and your friend through the crisis period. If you have any further questions, please go to icresponseinfo.com.
Stay healthy and best regards.
