Urban Home to unveil inaugural OC showroom at Irvine Spectrum Center by end of 2017

The L.A. contemporary furniture store finally heads south

Irvine, Calif. (Aug. 28, 2017) The live, work, shop, play ethos behind Irvine  Company will be front and center at Irvine Spectrum Center when the LA-based, celeb-approved Urban Home rolls out the welcome mat to its expansive modern showroom, replete with an exclusive design lounge for creative exploration. It is slated to open by the holidays.

“Urban Home is chic, inventive and approachable,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer, Irvine Company Retail Properties. “Its high-caliber team will bring home design concepts to life for our residents and all of Orange County.”

Urban Home’s inaugural OC store will showcase the brand’s newest design collections and celebrity collaborations, including the highly anticipated line of Joanna Gaines, the famous fixer-upper behind HGTV’s “Magnolia.” Rumored: Ellen DeGeneres’s eponymous new line, ED, might also be stocked here come spring 2018.

“Urban Home has always been about effortless design,” said Constantino Papanicolau, founder and chief executive officer, Urban Home. “It’s where style meets affordability.”

With nine locations throughout Southern California, Urban Home is a trending furniture and home décor brand that weaves fresh, modern elements into a classic aesthetic. The 30,000-square-foot Irvine store will be the company’s third largest, featuring well-appointed furnishings for dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, patios and office. Its meteoric rise throughout the greater Los Angeles area has been due largely in part to its globally inspired, hand-carved pieces made from reclaimed wood.

The Irvine Spectrum Center store will be next to Habana near Dave & Buster’s and Barnes & Noble.
