WaSa Sushi at The Market Place, one of Orange County’s most popular sushi restaurants, has re-opened after a complete remodel. The seven year old restaurant has an updated look and new selections on the menu.
WaSa at The Market Place now features warm woods and inviting earth tone colors. The centerpiece of the restaurant is a stunning sushi bar made of African redwood and yellow onyx. Beautiful alabaster pendant lights accent the restaurant, while mirrors add subtle sophistication by reflecting the light.
The revised menu has the favorites WaSa is known for, in addition to new items such as lunch specials for under $10. The lunch special includes salad, miso soup and a selection of spicy sashimi, dynamite shrimp, curry chicken katsu, ginger beef, and spicy tuna with crunchy served over rice.
“We are excited to unveil our fresh look, which reflects out philosophy of creating an elegant yet simple environment to serve the highest quality Japanese cuisine with friendly service,” said Bronnie Lee, owner of WaSa Sushi. “We look forward welcoming back our loyal patrons and to new diners enjoying the WaSa experience.”
WaSa Sushi is open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. WaSa is located on the Irvine side of The Market Place, at 13124 Jamboree, at Irvine Blvd. The restaurant can be reached at (714) 665-3338.
