Wraps Xpress, a unique new casual healthy restaurant, has opened at Quail Hill Village Center in Irvine. Wraps Xpress specializes in traditional Turkish meat and vegetarian wraps (or Lahmacun).
Each wrap is prepared to order and customers can see the wheat dough rolled out and baked. The dough is prepared fresh daily and is topped with generous portions of beef, chicken, or vegetarian with cheese and spinach. The wraps take under five minutes to prepare, from ordering your meal and viewing it out of the oven, then topped with your choice of fresh salad toppings.
Wraps Xpress also serves a number of desserts, including Burma (rolled pistachio in sweet dough), Kunafe (sweet traditional cheese and crispy thin string noodle dough) with light syrup, as well as Turkish coffee, Ayran (traditional yogurt drink) and soft drinks.
