Yoga studio and casual dining establishments join growing directory at River View in San Jose

CorePower Yoga, Inchin’s Bamboo Garden, Pokéworks and Salad Farm are newest tenants

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 13, 2016) — River View Apartment Homes in San Jose is set to welcome four new tenants to its 24,642 square feet of specialty shopping. Amongst them are a boutique yoga and fitness studio and three casual dining establishments.

“We’re excited to give residents of River View and the San Jose community a new convenient destination for dining and staying active,” said Dave Moore, president of Irvine Company Retail Properties. “River View provides the perfect blend of relaxation, social opportunities and active lifestyle. Everything you need is right outside your door step.”

  • CorePower Yoga roots an intensely physical workout in the mindfulness of yoga, helping students to change their bodies as well as their lives. Each CorePower Yoga class is designed to work every muscle and every emotion, creating a unique all-inclusive fitness experience. Offerings range from restorative classes to physically demanding, muscle-sculpting classes. Designed with green building practices in mind, using recycled products and sustainable materials, the River View Apartment studio will mirror other current studios by employing the latest technology to efficiently heat the practice rooms. The studio is expected to open in Spring 2016.
  • Inchin’s Bamboo Garden specializes in Pan Asian Cuisine with an emphasis on freshly prepared meals. The River View location will be its first in San Jose. Inchin’s menu is inspired by “feel good” street food with the influence of flavors from the finest restaurants found within the big cities of China, India and many east Asian countries, creating perfect blend of sweet, spicy and savory food. The restaurant is expected to open in Spring 2016.
  • Pokéworks serves Hawaiian poke made using only the highest-quality, sustainably sourced fish from local waters and beyond in a fast casual setting. Signature dishes include the Hawaiian Classic with ahi tuna, green and sweet onion, ogo seaweed, cucumber, Hawaiian salt, chili flakes and roasted sesame oil and the Wasabi Shrimp & Scallops featuring sous vide shrimp and scallops with green and sweet onion, cucumber masago and wasabi aioli. Pokeworks also offers a build-your-own style menu that allows diners to customize their protein, toppings, vegetable and fruit add-ons, and flavors. The River View location will be its first in San Jose and is expected to open in June 2016. Visit http://www.pokeworks.com.
