Celebrate a revitalized Woodbridge Village Center at the Summer Party on July 28
Family-friendly entertainment and activities will commemorate the completion of the center’s $30 million reinvestment
IRVINE, Calif. (July 5, 2018) — The community is invited to experience the Woodbridge Village Summer Party on Saturday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free event will celebrate the recent completion of a $30-million reinvestment of upgraded retail, dining and entertainment within a gathering place full of new amenities and features.
“We’re excited to welcome Irvine residents, families and guests of all ages to experience first-hand the transformation of Woodbridge Village Center,” said Butch Knerr, president of Irvine Company Retail Properties. “This beloved center has experienced significant reinvestments and become an even more attractive gathering place where people can connect and create memories.”
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, Woodbridge Village Center’s Summer Party will host a day of free family activities and an array of performances on an outdoor stage.
A ribbon cutting with City of Irvine officials will take place at 11:30 a.m., when the name of the newest frog at the center will be revealed.
Children and adults can participate in field-day-like games including a leapfrog competition, a lily pad obstacle course and a dance-a-long, and will enjoy a variety of food vendors from longtime Woodbridge Village Center favorites and new tenants including CHA for Tea, Clean Juice, Champagne French Bakery, Ruby’s Sessions West Coast Deli and Yogurtland.
Other fun attractions will include face-painting, tabletop activities, stage shows, turf games, and a giant frog photo booth.
Since its opening in 1979, Woodbridge Village Center has served as an inviting destination for people to gather or relax year-round in its outdoor space overlooking North Lake.
Irvine Company’s reinvestment in Woodbridge Village Center upgraded the retail, dining and entertainment mix to complement longtime favorites, refreshed the architecture for a warm coastal California feel and created expansive views with a “front porch” setting at the heart of the center that serves as a community gathering place.
