NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (August 21, 2018) — Fashion Island’s StyleWeekOC® will celebrate the best in Orange County style on Friday, September 14 through Sunday, September 16, 2018. Presented by SIMPLY, the definitive style experience will include an influencer pop-up shop, panel discussions with highly acclaimed experts and influencers in fashion and beauty, and in-store parties showcasing the season’s top trends.
“We are excited to provide the community with unique access to industry leaders and popular style influencers during the 11th annual StyleWeekOC,” said Heather Nykolaychuk, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “From menswear trends to revamping your beauty routine, our panel of experts will be sharing insightful tips for updating your look this fall.”
To kickoff the festivities, a pop-up shop featuring the Leyla Milani Collection® will open on Friday, September 14 at Atrium Court. Leyla Milani Collection is a line of clip-in extensions, styling tools and hair products catering to women of all ages and ethnicities who wish to have longer, thicker, more beautiful, bombshell hair.
On Saturday, September 15, guests are invited to attend exclusive panel discussions with fashion and beauty tastemakers.
- Men’s Fashion at 2 p.m. Moderated by TV personality and celebrity stylist Daniel Musto, Ashley Weston, top celebrity menswear stylist; Doug McLaughlin, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NOBLEMAN Magazine; and Jose Figueroa, menswear & lifestyle blogger, will discuss trends in men’s fashion.
- Beauty at 3 p.m. Los Angeles-based lifestyle influencer Louise Roe will join Scott Cunha, celebrity hair stylist and E! beauty expert; Ali Landry, actress and founder of RE/ SHAPE; Emma Willis, celebrity makeup and hair artist; and Lillian Babaian, of Studs and Sapphires, for a highlight on the latest in beauty, moderated by Ali Grant, founder of Be Social.
- Fashion at 4 p.m. Lauren Bushnell, ABC’s The Bachelor alum and founder of Dear Rose Wine & Bellevue the Label; Kat Tanita, of With Love from Kat; and Sophie Elkus, of Angel Food Style, moderated by Nylon contributor Sam Gutstadt, will share their insights on women’s fashion.
- Keynote Speaker at 5 p.m. A special Q&A with Lo Bosworth, Orange County native, reality TV star and founder of Love Wellness, will give guests an opportunity to engage with Lo and ask her questions about fashion, beauty, wellness and more! Sarah Boyd, founder of SIMPLY, Inc, will moderate the Q&A.
The panel discussions are free and open to the public. RSVP to reserve a seat here. Check in opens at 1 p.m. and the first 50 RSVPs to arrive will receive gift bags packed with merchandise from select Fashion Island retailers. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy several brand activations in the Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s courtyard, including custom flower arrangements, a KeVita Kombucha sampling station, photo opportunities and more.
