Fashion Island bustles with BHLDN at Anthropologie & Co.’s largest West Coast store

The bridal sister brand readies for its big day Aug. 11

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Aug. 1, 2017) —  The love affair with Anthropologie continues at Fashion Island with BHLDN, unveiling a shop-in-shop at its monumental Anthropologie & Co., which has become a destination unto itself for its diverse joie de vivre offerings.

It will be Orange County’s first location of BHLDN (pronounced “beholden”), a flouncy bridal boutique, featuring a curated collection of exclusive wedding gowns and reception dresses as well as jewelry and wedding accessories. The big draw is accessibility, considering the average wait for made-to-order gowns is five months.

“Call it kismet. Fashion Island and Anthropologie have long shared the same style philosophy in how its tailored to our audience,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer, Irvine Company Retail Properties.  “BHLDN fills a gap in Orange County with ready-to-wear, fashion-relevant dresses and uniquely beautiful accessories.”

The boutique-like setting, awash in natural light, creates an intimate shopping environment where details come to life and privacy is of the essence with four separate fitting rooms for bridal appointments. Make a day of it: Create your wedding registry while perusing the entire Anthropologie & Co. store.

With a focus on personalized service and one-on-one styling, BHLDN offers brides the opportunity to browse the brand’s exclusive collection—with gowns ready to be shipped in five to seven days. Since it launched in 2011, BHLDN has collaborated with elite designers the likes of Catherine Deane, Badgley Mischka, Tadashi Shoji and Vattana Watters.

Appointments are required to try on wedding dresses only. They can be booked here: https://bhldnnewportbeach.fullslate.com/services/1?start=3495
