Irvine neighborhood centers welcome new restaurants this summer

IRVINE, Calif. (August 16, 2018) — Irvine Company Retail Properties recently announced that three new restaurants have opened in its neighborhood centers across Irvine – Dunkin’ Donuts at University Center, Left Coast Brewing Company at Sand Canyon Plaza and The Pizza Press at Woodbridge Village Center.

“We are excited to welcome these dining options to Irvine,” said Christine Duvall, Senior Director of Marketing for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “These new additions enhance the breakfast, dinner and after-work opportunities available right here in our own backyard.”

Dunkin’ Donuts joined University Center bringing America’s favorite all-day, everyday stop for hot and iced coffee, donuts, and freshly made breakfast sandwiches to Irvine. This locations is the second Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant in Southern California to test a new generation concept store which features a modern design, an innovative tap system for signature cold beverages, an expansive outdoor patio, energy efficient elements, and new signage that refers to the brand simply as “Dunkin’.”

Left Coast Brewing Company recently opened a tasting room at Sand Canyon Plaza featuring its award-wining craft beers, a distillery and a Kansas City-style barbeque menu. The brewery serves local favorites on tap such as Hop Juice Triple IPA, Trestles IPA and Asylum Belgian Style Tripel Ale, as well as limited edition small-batch beers exclusive to the Irvine location. To pair with Left Coast’s beers, Executive Chef Jason Tsiames created a classic smokehouse menu with smoked beef brisket, baked cast iron cornbread, and specialty mac-n-cheese loaded with pulled pork.

Woodbridge Village Center added The Pizza Press, an Orange County-based build-your-own pizza restaurant, to its dining lineup. With a 1920s Americana newspaper theme, The Pizza Press’s menu features signature pizzas named after major newspapers, such as The Times, The Tribune, and The Chronicle, as well as serving customizable pizzas that can be topped with a variety of fresh and seasonal ingredients. Pizzas can be paired with up to 24 different craft beers on tap, which rotate regularly and by region.
