Jackson Lewis signs 22,000-square-foot lease at 200 Spectrum Center Drive

IRVINE, Calif. (June 13, 2016) — Irvine Company announced today that nationally renowned workplace law firm Jackson Lewis has signed a full floor, 22,000-square-foot lease at 200 Spectrum Center Drive, the sought-after 21-story vertical campus in Irvine Spectrum. The building is now more than 60% leased.

Ranked 76th in the AmLaw100, Jackson Lewis will move to 200 Spectrum Center from Newport Beach this fall.

“We are thrilled to add one of the nation’s top law firms to the roster of industry-leading professional services, technology, automotive and software companies at our newest vibrant workplace community,” said Steve Case, executive vice president, Irvine Company Office Properties.

The law firm will join Mazda North American Operations, cutting-edge, game communications leader Curse Inc., shared workspace giant WeWork and software innovator Greenwave Systems as among the building’s inaugural customers. The company has also signed leases with Altura Associates, Pacific Mercantile Bank, another law firm, Ryze Capital Partners and Enterey, a life-sciences consultancy.

“With its central location, 200 Spectrum Center is ideally situated for serving our clients and recruiting and retaining the region’s top lawyers,” said Samantha Hoffman, Managing Principal of Jackson Lewis’ Orange County office.

Designed by world-renowned architect Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the 425,000-square-foot building features sleek, modern architecture with unobstructed 360-degree views. The building offers 10 feet of floor-to-ceiling glass for superior natural lighting and an efficient floor plan for maximum flexibility. 200 Spectrum Center was awarded “Designed to Earn the ENERGY STAR” recognition in 2015 and upon completion in March, earned a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.

The vertical campus also offers two Irvine Company signature amenities: The Commons, an open air gathering place featuring causal workspaces, an outdoor living room and complimentary WiFi; and KINETIC, which blends a state-of-the-art onsite fitness center and wellness services, with close proximity to the St. Joseph Hoag Health Wellness Corner at The Village apartment homes. Showers, lockers and covered bicycle storage enable outdoor fitness as well as easy commuting by bike.

Located in the center of one of California’s most successful business communities, 200 Spectrum Center is adjacent to a variety of housing and lodging choices, including a 271-room, full-service Marriott that is under construction, and Irvine Spectrum Center, which offers 1.2 million square feet of restaurant, retail and entertainment options to seamlessly integrate work and life.

Irvine Company continues to bring a unique perspective to Orange County and the forward thinking businesses in the area, offering flexibility for companies as they grow and unrivaled amenities in highly sought-after Southern California places to work, live and play.
