Irvine Company
The Market Place Levels Up
The Market Place, at the border of Irvine and Tustin, is becoming a premier hub for Orange County living — where high-quality dining, shopping, jobs and close-knit community living come together.
Guided by decades of thoughtful master planning, the Irvine Company has been reinvesting in this vibrant community, with an array of exciting new attractions set to open in coming weeks. They’ll include a new gathering space, restaurants and expertly designed apartment homes.
“As master planners of world-class districts, our reinvestments ensure The Market Place remains a place where top brands thrive, businesses grow and residents enjoy restaurants, shops and workplaces within walking distance of their homes,” said Rob Elliott, senior vice president of Planning and Design for Irvine Company.
A New Front Yard
Debuting September 27, a new half-acre lawn with a fountain and surrounding restaurants will become the community’s front yard, attracting locals and visitors alike. Designed with input from residents and shoppers, the plaza will become a lively backdrop for pop-up shops, culinary events and seasonal celebrations. A new Shake Shack and Corner Bakery have already opened nearby, while coming soon are Mendocino Farms, BLK Dot Coffee, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream and a full-service restaurant that will be announced early next year. The new restaurants will add to The Market Place’s collection of more than 130 shops and restaurants, including outlets for home goods, groceries, clothing, wellness, dining and entertainment.
Quality and Convenient Living
Two new residential communities — Colonnade at The Market Place and Meridian at The Market Place — will offer village-like settings where conveniences, entertainment, gathering spaces and access to highly acclaimed schools in the Tustin Unified School District are all just steps away. Leasing for Colonnade begins in September; Meridian will follow in December. Please click here for leasing information.
A Boon for Businesses
With its integrated living, shopping and dining, The Market Place offers companies locating at its office campus a powerful edge in attracting and retaining talent. Recent enhancements, such as expanded outdoor workspaces, upgraded fitness facilities and on-site dining, underscore Irvine Company’s commitment to creating workplaces that inspire well-being and productivity.
Strategic Location and Acclaimed Design
Strategically located at Jamboree Road and the I-5, The Market Place combines Class-A modern workplaces, thoughtfully designed residential apartments and more than 130 curated shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Famed international architect Ricardo Legorreta developed the destination’s unique design, including bold colors, 100-foot-high light towers and light-filled public spaces. The 1.6 million-square-foot area is landscaped with 3,000 trees, including olives, date palms and Australian willows. Nature-loving residents can also enjoy bike and trail access to Lower Peters Canyon.
